Of Ink and Ash by Adele Bowden (Magic of Elvazein Book #1)

Blurb:

A BLAZING INFERNO. SHADOWS COLLIDE. DRAGONS DIE. The dragon spirit riders have all been killed, causing the walls protecting the lands to fall.

Dark Realm beasts have invaded the land, starting the beginnings of a war, with only those strong enough to make it to Elvazein to survive.

100 years later, Zae, a member of the inferno wolf pack, awakens in the forest, standing over the dead body of the pack leader.

Was she the murderer? With her memory lost she cannot say for sure.

Zae must assume she is innocent, and find the murderer, otherwise she will be executed by her pack.

Trying to solve this murder mystery, leads her to unravel another crime that is much larger, one that links to the fall of the dragon spirit riders, one that could change the future of the war they were now living in.
